§ 5.28.040. License—Application form and fee.

Application for contractor's license, name change, organizational change, or change of the qualified person shall be made upon a form provided by the city clerk and in accordance with the application procedures and the license fee required in Chapters 5.04 and 5.08 of this code and the requirements of this chapter.

Each application must list a qualified person. The qualified person is considered the applicant for a license.

The qualified person shall be:

A.

The individual for an individual license; or

B.

One of the partners for a partnership license; or

C.

An officer or active member in the corporation approved by the building board of examiners and appeals for a corporate license; or

D.

A full time employee of A, B, or C as aforementioned.

Fees shall not be prorated because part of the license year has elapsed. Such application shall disclose all information required to determine approval thereof. The completed application, fees and all supporting documents required to be provided therewith shall be submitted to the building inspector.
