§ 9.04.010. Created.

There is hereby incorporated by reference for the purpose of regulating public offenses within the City of Great Bend, Kansas, that certain code known as the "Uniform Public Offense Code," Edition of 2018, prepared and published in book form by the League of Kansas Municipalities, Topeka, Kansas, subject to the changes, additions, and amendments, hereinafter made and set out in Section 9.04.020 is hereby incorporated in reference and is adopted as the Uniform Public Offense Code of the City of Great Bend, Kansas. The corresponding section numbers utilized in the Uniform Public Offense Code of the City of Great Bend, Kansas, as follows: "All in violation of Section(s) ____, Uniform Public Offense Code, City of Great Bend, Kansas." Violations of the provisions of Title 9, Code of Ordinances, City of Great Bend, Kansas, 1994 Revision, shall be cited as follows: "All in violation of Section(s) ____, Code of Ordinances, City of Great Bend, Kansas, 1994 Revision." No fewer than three copies of said Uniform Public Offense Code shall be marked or stamped "Official Copy as Adopted by Ordinance No. - ____," and to which shall be attached a copy of this ordinance, and filed with the city clerk to be open to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours"; provided that Section 9.9.1 of the Code is specifically not adopted but is excluded from adoption.

Ord. No. 4322, § 2, adopted Aug. 20, 2018, repealed the former section and enacted a new section as set out herein. The former section pertained to similar subject matter and derived from Ord. No. 4313, § 1, 9-5-2017.
