§ 13.08.070. Water sales—Tank load lots.

A.

Water furnished by the city at Westport Addition in tank-load lots shall be billed and collected at the rate of two dollars per each one thousand gallons of water delivered. Customers shall contact the department of public works for their water needs.

The department of public works shall be responsible for the delivery of all water in tank-load lots at Westport Addition. The department shall maintain a record of the date, name and address of the customer and amount of water delivered on a water delivery ticket which shall be transmitted to the city clerk. The city clerk shall bill the customer which billing shall be due and payable upon receipt. Any such billing not paid within fifteen days from date of billing shall become delinquent. When delinquent, a penalty charge of five percent of the bill shall be charged and the city clerk shall notify the department of public works to discontinue delivery of water to the user.
